Functions and Indications: Reconciling the exterior and interior, relieving the liver and depression, elevating the yang and lifting the trap, relieving fever and stopping malaria; used for colds and fever, chills and feverish exchanges, chest and hypochondriac distension and pain, menstrual disorders, uterine prolapse, and prolapse of the anus.
Usage and dosage: 3~10g
Contraindications: (1) Chaihu contains quercetin, and should not be used with western medicines containing various metal ions, such as aluminum hydroxide preparations, calcium preparations, ferrous preparations, etc., which can form complexes and affect absorption.
